Hello!!👋
I'm Heather, a Toronto-based web developer, and a recent graduate of Juno College of Technology's immersive Front-end Web Development Bootcamp program. I am super passionate about responsive & accessible design, and clean & beautiful code!
Prior to starting at Juno, I worked in operations & people management within the travel industry for 9 years! Working in operations really allowed me to hone my skills in problem-solving, logical thinking, and attention to detail. Working in the travel industry not only enabled me to see the world, it also gave me an invaluable opportunity to work with a diverse range of people across multiple cultures.
When I'm not coding, I love to travel (of course!), binge reality tv (sorry), and watch basketball (go Raps!!).

The Dream Keeper
The Dream Keeper application was built with React, and uses Firebase for data-storing. A solo-programming project, this application is perfect for quickly tracking your dreams before they slip away!
Budget Buddy!
A group project based on a client brief. The Budget Buddy was created using React, and Firebase for data-storing. Programmed as a group and project managed by me.
Horoscopes 4 U!
This application was built with HTML, CSS, SCSS and Javascript. Using the aztro Horoscope API, we created an app where users are able to generate their daily horoscope, compatibility, lucky number, special colour and more! A paired programming project made with Juno friend Matt McKay.
Boat Ride Adventures
This solo programming project was built using HTML, CSS, SCSS, and Javascript. A multi-page, fully responsive website, built entirely based on a brief of PSD design files.
